Furniture Hire for Kent Event Centre, Kent Showground
Home > Venues we deliver to > Kent Event Centre, Detling
Kent Event Centre is at the Kent Showground in Detling, near Maidstone, home of the Kent County Agricultural Society. The showground is used for shows, fairs, exhibitions and private events. In October 2026 we delivered 60 black poseur tables for an event on Sunday 25 October.
What we supplied
- 60 black poseur tables
- Delivered on Saturday 24 October 2026, ready for the event on Sunday 25 October
- Collected on Monday 26 October, after the event
- Street-level access to the hall was confirmed before delivery
Poseur tables are tall standing tables. They suit drinks receptions, networking and trade stands, where guests move around rather than sit down.
Chairs and tables for events at Kent Event Centre
A large hall like this can be laid out in many ways, from a seated dinner to an exhibition floor. These are our suggestions for organisers. They are not a record of what we have supplied:
- Poseur table hire for receptions, bars and networking areas
- Folding chair hire in black or white for talks, auctions, ceremonies and theatre-style seating
- Table hire: round tables for dinners and parties, and trestle tables for stands, registration and catering
- Chiavari chairs or oak cross back chairs for weddings, awards dinners and celebrations
- Conference chair hire for seminars and corporate days
For event organisers
Shows and fairs come round every year, and many use the same layout each time. If you run several events at Kent Showground, call 020 3011 1535. We can quote your events together and aim to keep the same tables and chairs from one event to the next.
